Facilitation, Collaboration and Co-creation

To create a knowledge-driven platform for co-creating a smart KE, we encourage universities and research institutes to develop innovative smart city solutions. We have in the past provided policy support for smart city-related research projects that using KE as a test bed in their funding applications. These include subjects on autonomous vehicle, common digital platform with geographical information system functionality, tree health alert system, data mining techniques, environmental air quality forecast, cost-benefit analysis, Government Wide IoT Network (GWIN), 3D indoor mapping, etc. We are looking forward to seeing more opportunities for further collaboration with government departments, NGOs, the academia, professional bodies and R&D institutes.
